Google Wallet! (The invisible wallet)
Hey guys, Google wallet is out and its totally awesome. Imagine never having to keep any of your debit/credit cards anymore? Just waving your NFC smartphone near or tapping the reader, and voila! payments for purchases are made. This is definitely going to revolutionize payments.
I know the question you all are going to ask....security? ok, here is the deal....
......Google Wallet stores your encrypted payment card credentials on a computer chip on your phone called the Secure Element. This Secure Element is a separate computer, capable of running programs and storing data. The Secure Element is separate from your Android phone's memory and the chip is designed to only allow trusted programs on the Secure Element itself to access the payment credentials stored therein.
This also works with a secure encryption technology of MasterCard PayPass which protects your payment card credentials as they are transferred from the phone to the contactless reader.
How cool is dat.....i only wish Nigerian banks would tag along pretty soon.
Google is definitely ahead of the pack. Another good one fron the Google team. Thumbs up!

What else can be better than information and technology....hmmm....i wonder? Technology Entertainment and design (TED) is simply something else. I can only try to describe it simply as mind boggling and fascinating.
Imagine riveting talks by remarkable people. From Al gore, bill gates to Richard branson they cover a wide range of topics.Technology, Business, science, entertainment, design etc totally free to the world.
These talks trully are... "Ideas worth spreading"
let me take u through some of the videos at
www.ted.com
P.S
Kindly let me know when you get touched by any of these videos.

The Apple Ipad came out last week and it was something totally awesome. The story was everywhere, it was as if the world wouldn't go on without it. Well...the much awaited "ipad" was released on thursday and hundred's of buyers literally waited for hours outside the stores till they were opened not to talk of the stampede as they rushed in to grab their boxes of the new experience in computing.
What is the fuss about the "ipad"? i asked myself till i stumbled on this video link....
You'll know...just like the video says, "The iphone is made for u".
Those of you who have got it..."enjoy!" it as we say in Nigeria, those of us who haven't would keep watching the video and hope that someday soon we would own an ipad.
